Welcome to C&E Trenching serving Pasco, Kennewick, and Richland, Washington. We are an excavating company founded by a farmer for the farmer. In 1994, C&E Trenching began trenching for the ag industry throughout the Columbia Basin. We trenched constantly, beginning in October and throughout the winter installing irrigation systems in fields, orchards and vineyards. We would work double as spring approached and the farmers were wanting to get projects done for their upcoming harvest season. But then would come our summer slow season. Our normal ag customers didn’t want us trenching through their crop, so we began exploring other areas that would keep us busy in the summer. In 1997, we became licensed to install septic systems in Benton and Franklin Counties. This worked great. We trenched and installed septic systems helping to fill any down time. Then we branched out into other areas because we could see the needs of our ag customers expanding. Soon we were cleaning out ponds, building ponds, trenching and installing irrigation mainlines, installing, graveling, and grading new service roads and driveways. We then began some excavating. We did a few foundations for new homes here and there and some lot leveling. Next came site work preparation, hauling rock, gravel, and sand for Basin Sod and Gravel, and the list expanded. We are now a full service excavating company ready for all your underground work.
